We have been working on the organ with Klais Orgelbau from Germany, and are pleased to announce the new town hall organ made a triumphant public debut on Sunday 21 March 2010. The organ was shipped to the Klais Orgelabau workshop in Bonn, Germany in 2007. The South Island Organ Company worked with Johannes Klais Orgenlabu on the redevelopment project and will be responsible for its ongoing maintenance.
