1975 SIOC Continuo Organ – restored after EQ
$40,250.00 Incl GST
Continuo organ – commissioned by Mr & Mrs Bernard Bicknell and built by SIOC in 1975 for the Christchurch Town Hall. In 2010-2011 earthquakes the instrument suffered water damage and was an insurance write off. In 2014 we purchased it back. Since then it has been fully restored. Its tonal egress has been improved with the new grille work. The EQ damage was to the floor of the organ, the lower case and the bass-note wind-chest, all of which we renewed.
